Tigaie

This breed depending on type exploited for meat, milk, wool (Banat), milk, meat, wool ( Peretu) or wool-milk-meat ( Slobozia).
Wool.
Sheep produce wool 1.5-3 kg (plus variants 4-4.5 kg) and rams 3-5 kg with a fineness of 30-35 microns;
Meat
At birth the lambs weighing 2-5 kg, 8-12 kg at 30 days and at 90 days, 18 to 30 kg. Average daily gain is between 150-200 g.
Milk.
Total average production varies very widely:

Tigaie de munte 50-70 kg;
Tigaia bucalaie de Banat 120-150 kg;
Tigaia de Peretu 100-140 kg;
Tigaia de Slobozia 80-120 kg within 6-7 months of lactation

The record is 248 kg / lactation.

The fat content is 7%, and 6.5% protein, created and an excellent feedstock to produce cheese, yogurt and cream cheese.
